This tabulation volume presents findings from the 2015 QuickCompass of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response-Related Responders (2015 QSAPR) conducted by the Defense Research, Surveys, and Statistics Center (RSSC) within the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This survey was conducted at the request of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO) as part of its ongoing evaluation efforts of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) programs towards sexual assault prevention and survivor support. The survey was designed to provide insights about SAPR responders-Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) and Victims Advocates (VAs)-at military installations worldwide, to understand how effectively responders are trained for their positions, and their perceptions of how well their program is supported and executed.

This report describes the sampling and weighting methodologies used in the 2015 QuickCompass of Sexual Assault Prevention and Response-Related Responders (2015 QSAPR). The target population of the 2015 QSAPR consists of Defense Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) certified Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs) and SAPR Victim Advocates (VAs) who are active duty, National Guard/Reserve members, or DoD civilian employees, in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or DoD agencies.

This report provides the results for the 2015 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Reserve Component Members (2015WGRR). The overall purpose of the 2015 WGRR is to document the extent to which Reserve component members reported experiencing sexual assault in the 12 months prior to filling out the survey, the details surrounding those events, bystander intervention, and the members' perceptions of the effectiveness of sexual assault policies, training, and programs.

This report describes the statistical methodologies for the 2015 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Reserve Component Members (2015 WGRR). The first section describes the sample design and selection of the sample. The second section describes weighting and variance estimation, as well as a comparison to the 2014 RAND Military Workplace Study. The third section describes the statistical tests used for the 2015 WGRR. The fourth section describes the calculation of location, completion, and response rates for the full sample and population subgroups. The final section contains the nonresponse bias (NRB) analysis.

This report contains tabulations of responses from the 2015 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Reserve Component Members (2015 WGRR) conducted from August 7 to October 19, 2015. The 2015 WGRR continues a line of military sexual assault and sexual harassment research begun in 1988. DMDC conducted Joint Service surveys of active duty members on gender issues in 1988, 1995, 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2012. DMDC expanded this line of research to the Reserve Components in 2004, 2008, and 2012 and to the Service Academies in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. Historically, DMDC gender relations surveys have been designed to estimate the perceived level of sexual harassment and sexual assault in the Services and to provide new information on a variety of consequences of sexual harassment and sexual assault experiences.

The Validation Test Report for the Advanced CIRCulation Model, ADCIRC, v45.11 addresses the prediction of barotropic 2D and 3D currents, water levels and inundation. Validation efforts address 1) the wetting and drying capability, 2) the prediction of surge, inundation and surge-induced currents, 3) the prediction of two- and three-dimensional currents and water levels in a bay, and 4) the prediction of three-dimensional tidal currents in the wake of an island. Lastly, a simulated real-time exercise with the model is conducted during the international sea trial, MREA07, and is used to evaluate the developed enabling software as well as the prediction of 2D barotropic currents. Generally, model predictions of evaluated products are reasonably accurate and realistic for truly barotropic applications. More work is needed to better assess the impact of boundary condition specification on predictive capability and to determine the model sensitivity to the 3D turbulence closure formulation and parameter selection.

The Nuclear Structure Facility at present under construction at Daresbury Laboratory will house a vertical tandem Van de Graaff electrostatic generator which will be capable of accelerating both light and heavy ions. The acceleration of ions is caused by a large electric gradient maintained along an evacuated tube in which the ion beam is steered and focused by magnets situated at various positions along the tube. The beam tube and the beam handling elements are supported by an insulating structure known as the stack. The beam handling elements are housed in a terminal at the mid-point of the stack and at three positions (dead sections) on either side of the center terminal. The center terminal and the dead sections are insulated from each other and from ground by a number of non-conducting live sections. The stack, which has an overall height of 40.26 m, is graded uniformly along its length from the terminal potential to ground by a resistor chain. The initial stack design, machine design optimization, and final stack configuration are discussed. Appendices deal with the structural and dynamic analysis of the stack.
